Two young women, Tishya Mahindru Shahani a post graduate in psychology and a post graduate diploma holder in hypnotherapy from MSU Baroda and Birjis Alvi a post graduate in psychology from Gujarat University. Both had their dreams and the zeal to utilize their knowledge and specialized skills to pursue their professional career by providing therapy-based academic education to children with special needs. This prompted them to establish Apnatva, an institution for children with special needs as a partnership firm in 2017.
